Columbus Day Weekend, 2006

October 6-8, 2006

Join us for the fifth Texile History Forum at Winterthur!

The Forum takes place October 6-7, 2006 at Winterthur Museum in Winterthur, Delaware. This exciting conference brings together textile enthusiasts from all over the country to hear juried paper presentations, participate in hands-on workshops, tour Winterthur’s amazing collection, exchange ideas, and network.

Each person who registers for the two-day conference receives a copy of the Textile History Forum Proceedings, which collects all papers presented at the forum, complimentary admission to all museum galleries and gardens, lunch both days, a special tour of Winterthur, access to all presentations, and the chance to participate in a workshop.

Registration for both days is $185.

For those with tight schedules, there is an optional one-day registration for $125.

On Saturday evening, the Forum will host a banquet and textile auction at the nearby Courtyard Marriott on the University of Delaware’s campus in Newark. All textile enthusiasts are encouraged to attend! The banquet is a wonderful opportunity to meet friends, and the auction is a fun, low-key exchange of textile treasures that helps to fund the next Forum. The cost for the banquet is $32 per person. The auction is free.

If you want to register or have questions, call 866-384-2729 or email rgoody@mybizz.net . We look forward to seeing you at the Forum!
